SUMMER 2026
Music is one of my greatest inspirations for visual art. I spend a lot of time exploring different genres and scouring for new stuff. Here's what I've been enjoying.
(It was a cacophonous, end-of-the-world-feeling kinda summer... musically, but... also just generally.)
A beautifully deep, zany, and unforgettable self-portrait by Joanna Priestley. This is one of those pieces I wish I made!
Kate Folk's 2022 short story collection Out There was just incredible. Full of surreal, dark, sci-fi-laced tales on womanhood, relationships, insecurity, and technology. The first of the stories, "Out There," was published in The New Yorker here.
